Medium Edyth Mexican chimenea in green. Comes with a steel stand, and a matching clay lid.
Firing
Clay chimeneas have a great burning function, this model can be used as an incinerator as well as a BBQ. The main purpose of the chimenea is to burn wood efficiently as a result it leaves hardly any ash.
When first starting to use the chimenea, take the lid off and have a small fire. This strengthens the clay because it becomes used to the heat. When fired the clay absorbs the heat and retains it thus acting as a radiator. When a big fire is used when first starting off there is a bigger likelihood of cracking appearing on the clay. This means do not have a roaring fire!
Pattern
The design of the Medium Edyth Mexican chimenea: Celtic theme, going around funnel and around the belly.
.Assembly
There is no assembly for these products, simply place the chimenea onto the stand.
Weathering
We recommend that chimeneas are covered when not in use to protect from the weather. Covering is not as necessary when it rains although it becomes harder to get a fire going when the clay is damp/ wet. It is necessary to cover chimeneas during winter as when the clay becomes too cold i.e covered in frost/ snow the clay can to begin to crack. Cracks can expand once exposed to water getting in and freezing causing severe instability in the structure of the chimenea.
Instructions
All chimeneas come with instructions on how to use it and what to use in order to fire it, as not all lighting fuels are compatible with chimeneas.
